- (2-3 lbs) Beef Steak Flank
- (1/4 c.) Brown sugar
- (1/4 c.) Fresh lime juice
- (1/4 c.) Canola oil
- (2-3) Chopped chipotles canned in adobo sauce
- (2-3 T. or to taste preference) Adobo sauce from the canned chipotles
- (1 t.) Salt
Mix all ingredients in a non-metal bowl. Marinate flank steak in mixture for up to 8 hours, covered in fridge.
Grill to your liking. We grill them on hot (400 degrees or higher), roughly 5 minutes each side, until internal temperature is 125 degrees.
Take off grill, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes, then slice (cut across the grain for nice slice).
Use in salads, tacos, etc.
