Happy Halloween

As fall colors start to fade, the pumpkin season comes and thoughts of Halloween and trick or treat.

The last few cows await shipment. Then we'll be shutting down farming until next March

Our store-bought maple tree came late to the party. Always likes to make an entrance.

Questions for You

Steve and I want to know:

What caused you to buy from us instead of someplace else?

Ground Turkey is Back

Your favorite and ours, ground turkey goes with everything and anything. Get that excellent turkey flavor knowing the birds were raised in sunshine and grass. Our ground turkey is a best seller so we are glad to have more in stock for you.

In case you were wondering about whole turkey, we decided after much deliberation that there was not enough demand for whole birds and our cost to produce them made for a prohibitive selling price.

We will continue to provide wings, drums and backs for those of you who want to do turkey but don't want to deal with cooking (and eating) a whole bird. If you live in the southern Wisconsin or Northern Illinois area, the Alden Hills farm raises organic turkeys for sale at a better price than we can deliver. You do have to pick it up from them. You can contact us if you are interested.
