Chicago Brand bacon is made by mixing chopped beef and chopped pork, making these into a loaf about as thick as a slice of bacon and then curing and smoking the result.
Chicago Bacon can be used in any place regular bacon can be used. It is less fatty than regular bacon and it works very well fried and put on top of burgers or BLT sandwiches. It also works very well as flavoring in things like pea soup, bacon bits for salads.
There are no nitrates, nitrites, or sugars in our Chicago Brand Bacon.
